This time BlytheYou interviewed EASY ZHENG — a pro Blythe lover who has visited many countries with her toys. Can’t wait to share her interesting adventures with you!

Easy Zheng is a 27-year-old Blythe hobbyist from Guangdong, China. As her nickname “shark” in Chinese (鲨鱼) shows, Easy is an adventurous girl who enjoys exploring every corner of the world. At a young age, she is already an influential travel blogger and Blythe collector in China with over 10k followers on Weibo (a Chinese social media platform).

Easy’s journey with Blythe dolls started 10 years ago. When she was a high school student, she received her first Blythe doll—”My Best Friend” from her friend, as a memory of their friendship. By now, Easy has collected about 30 Blythe dolls.

In the past years, Easy has visited many countries and places with her adorable Blythe dolls. Their footprints have been left in Russia, Japan, South Korea, Kenya, Turkey, and so on. Not only do they help her pass the time on the plane, but also embellish the beautiful scenery in her photos. For Easy, these little friends play an irreplaceable role in her trips; she cannot imagine traveling without her lovely dollies .

When selecting her traveling partner, Easy prefers the custom dolls rather than the original ones. On one hand, the custom Blythe dolls are ideal for photography with their vivid expressions. On the other hand, most of her original dolls are limited editions, so Easy cherishes them so much that she is reluctant to take them out.

For Easy, traveling with Blythe is a good way to connect with the locals and to make friends with people sharing same interests. When seeing her taking pictures for these cute dolls, local people usually come over to chat with her. As Easy recalls, when visiting Serbia, she met a Taiwanese middle-aged man who traveled with a street-fashion-brand toy bear. They had a pleasant conversation about their trips with toys and took photos together as a token of this wonderful encounter.

In addition to collecting Blythe dolls and traveling with them, Easy also likes collecting Re-Ment mini toys, which are usually used as props for Blythe dolls. Her favorite sets are the vintage series “Girly Treasure” and “Lovely Pink” because they are exquisitely designed and very classical.

When talking about her dream, Easy hopes that one day she will settle down in a European country and start her own café business. She got this inspiration from her visit to distinctive cafés in various countries. She likes observing how the owners operate the shops and imagining how she would do in her own coffee shop. Maybe someday you will run into Easy and her lovely Blythe friends somewhere in the world. Don’t forget to say “hi” and listen to her fantastic stories!
